And Death evicts the company you keep,

When on your journey there's no end in sight
And optimism makes you hope too much,
When fate's so cruel you lose the will to fight
And friendship seem to crumble at your touch,

When what your heart can feel your lips can't speak
And all your noble efforts are in vain,
When nowhere can be found the one you seek
And shelterless you get caught in the rain,

Keep close the little things that make you smile;
curl up and sip condensed milk for awhile.
